Fruit Facials at Home

Fruit facials are extremely rejuvenating and give the skin an instant glow. But these can cost you big mullahs if you get them done at the spa or the parlor. We give you some of the recipes for fruit facials for different skin types. Now, you can sit cozily at home and get these facials done with the help of some refrigerator fresh fruits. We tell you all about it!

Peach facial for dry skin: Mix one ripe peach and an egg white. Beat till it becomes a thick paste. Apply evenly on face and relax. Leave it on for 30 minutes and rinse off with cold water for an instant glow.

Apple fig for normal skin: Put one apple (peeled and finely chopped) with 2 tablespoon of honey in a mixer. Blend well and refrigerate for half an hour. Apply evenly on the face and neck for that red apple glow!

Cucumber mask for oily skin: Mix one cucumber (chopped) with one egg white and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply on face for a refreshing feel. Lemon helps in extracting excess oil from the face.

Mask for blemish-free skin: Blend a tomato with a tablespoon of oatmeal and lemon juice. Apply on face and leave it on for 30 minutes. Use once in two weeks to considerably reduce blemishes and marks.

Strawberry mask: Mix few strawberries with 1/4 cornstarch. Blend well and apply on face for a refreshing feel.

Citrus mask: Boil a vitamin capsule in boiling water along with lemon peel. Keep the mixture overnight and apply the next morning. Let it dry for half  an hour and rinse with cold water.

These home made fruit facials are safe to apply at the cost of only few fruits available readily at home. So, get these done according to your skin type and beckon a healthy, fresh and glowing skin!
