Fighting Fit

How many times have you decided to wear our really short skirt for that fancy dinner, and opted out at the last minute? And how often do you cringe at having to wear your swimming costume in front of a pool full of people? The good news is that you are not alone. Many others like you are struggling in their battle against cellulite.

Cellulite is actually body fat, located specially around the buttocks and upper thighs. Cellulite makes the skin appear puffy and lumpy, and could also result in spots under the skin. Cellulite affects women more than it does men.

While there may be a range of treatments that claim to rid you of cellulite, nothing can really make it go away altogether. There are body creams and other medicines that are available for cellulite, but they can only help reduce its appearance. Other procedures like liposuction remove only fats that are deep inside the body, leaving cellulite behind.

The best way to take care of cellulite is to be more conscious about the body. Eat better and exercise more. Get a more routine life in place, and that will probable help you contain cellulite more effectively. While this process may take slightly longer, it is a safer and more permanent solution.

Nobody likes to feel like they are overweight. We all crave hourglasss figures and perfectly toned bodies. But that’s a gift not everyone can afford. It’d best to embrace yourself for who you are. While you make work hard at trying to keep yourself in the best shape possible, it’s not worth bending backwards over.
