Eyeliner application

Eyeliner is one such part of makeup which can change your look completely, it can transform you from an ordinary girl to a Diva. It can flatter your eyes and correct all the flaws and give a dramatic look, your eyes can look expressive if the liner is worn the right way. There are few things you need to bear in mind while applying eyeliner, firstly complete your other first wear your lenses and then apply the liner. Incase you plan to apply eye shadow then do that first, however, wear your mascara before applying eyeliner. Now that you know when to apply the eyeliner lets look at some steps that you need to follow for easy and appropriate application.

Keep both your eyes open, do not close one eye while applying.

Look down so that your eyes half closed yet you can see yourself in the mirror.

Create a thin line as close to the eyelid (base) as possible.

Start from the inner corner of the eyes and work it up, do not attempt to draw the line in 1 stroke, use short strokes.

If you have big eyes you can apply eyeliner on the lower lid also, but if you have small eyes dont apply liner on the lower lid as it will make your eyes look even smaller.

Do not wear a brown mascara with black eyeliner

Do not apply a thick line on small eyes and vice versa.

Eyeliners are available in various forms like; Liquid, Pencil and Cake. Choose a liner which is comfortable in application, some people find liquid liners a little difficult to handle, comparatively Pencil eyeliners are easy to use and good for a starter. But ensure that your pencil eyeliner is not too dry or old since it will not give a smooth effect.
