Eye Makeup for the Scorching Summer

Summer is a good time to be trendy and show off those sexy colors through your makeup. But how do you keep it cool? Eye makeup is the most difficult part to cope up with in summers. Use sun-friendly products. These include a light waterproof mascara, eye pencils and light eye shadow especially in crème base. Do not go for liquid eye color during summers as these melt and look messy.

Eye shadows cause irritation to some women in summers. You can just camouflage it with a coat of Vaseline or petroleum jelly. This looks natural and gives the effect of a nude eye shadow color.

If you apply eye color, apply it in a very thin coat. Do not apply a broad coat as it can smudge. Apply the eye shadow in a thin layer evenly on the eye lid.

It is advisable to avoid kohl pencil in the summers. These smudge and give a messy look. Do not apply kohl or any eye pencil on the lower lid of your eyes. Only apply a clear coat on the upper layer.

Before applying eye shadow, brush your eye lids with a loose coat of powder. This will keep the eye shadow in place and it will also prevent smudging. Besides, it will prevent sweating in summers. Eye lids are prone to sweat.

Do not apply thick layers of mascara if it’s too hot outside. Your mascara will melt down and give a clumsy look. You can go for the false lashes and avoid wearing mascara. These stick easily and give the voluminous mascara look.

Keep wet tissues with you. In summers it is important to keep these with you for a fresh feel whenever needed.
