Eye Express
Eyes are the most expressive features of our face but often they become the most difficult to care for because the under eye area is very delicate and the skin is thin so even a slightest of change in your lifestyle will show up through your eyes. Eye make up can come handy when dealing with different eye shapes and eye problems.
The way you wear your eye liner, eye shadow and your mascara is instrumental in giving you a different look, also choosing the right product according to the weather is equally important. Using makeup is a temporary solution for treating eye problems like puffy eyes, it is good to use cucumber gel around your eyes, also try chilled eye mask.
Drinking loads of water can also help cure this condition, avoid cigarettes and alcohol, since these, coupled with lack of sleep are the main culprits for tired and puffy eyes. If you want to use eyeliner it is best to use a liquid liner since it is resistant to humidity and heat, but can smudge easily if you sweat a lot. Stay away from eye liner if you have tiny eyes, instead use a dark coloured eye shadow.
Apply it close to the lash line and blend it out gently, using a brush or eye shadow applicator. Use a light brush of mascara, this will help open up your eyes. The colour of your eye shadow plays a very important role in eye make up, it is not necessary to match it with your garment.
But keep it in the same colour zone, if in doubt stick to grey and brown shades. Always use an applicator brush starting from your lash line, blending upwards towards the socket. Stay within this zone so that your eyes don’t look loud or over done. Remember the key is ” Less is more”, however, for an evening wear apply one more coat of the same colour for an intense look.
