Evening Makeup
Evening makeup needs to be sophisticated and sexy to pull up that hot look. Create a lot of drama to your routine day makeup, play up with one feature and keep the rest of your face pale. What makes the evening makeup different from day makeup are the lights, natural sunlight will only reflect the true colour of your makeup. But party lights or evening lights can either accentuate your makeup or make it appear dull. Your makeup depends a great deal on the type of lights you are exposed to. There are some tips to apply makeup in evening.
Evening makeup is usually darker and louder than day makeup, since the reflection of light on your face changes the look completely. Bold colours like reds, maroons, wine and smokey eyes are safe during evenings. You can add lots of colour and highlighter in your evening makeup. Use your shimmer and shine products generously, but ensure that you don’t look tacky.
Highlight only one feature of your face, either the eyes or your lips, don’t work on all the features, this is the trick to get your red lipstick right. If you use a red lipstick then your eye shadow should be nude or pastel. Similarly if you play up your eyes dramatically then use a lighter shade of lipstick.
To create dramatic eyes, apply eye shadow in 3 shades from the same colour family. Apply the darker shade under your lower eyelid to make your eyes attractive. Start from the inner corner of the eyes and apply shadow till the centre of the eyes.
Use a highlighter with shimmer on the brow bones, this will define the curves of your eyes and looks fabulous. You can also dust some shimmer on the exposed areas of your body like shoulder, neck, cleavage and so on. To ensure that the shimmer stays in place, mix it with a light moisturiser and then apply, it will stay in place and wont keep falling on your clothes.
