Eat Right For Good Skin
Want good skin? Eat right, if you want a healthy and glowing skin. Even your dermatologist will swear by this. With the changes in our lifestyle, it is imperative to have a balanced meals.
In the last decade, entire lifestyles have gone for a complete change. Though technically our lives have improved in several ways, but leading a fast paced and stressful life has taken a toll on our skin and hair. Processed, refined foods and aerated drinks are known to increase hormonal imbalance.
This imbalance causes acne, hair loss, increased facial hair and so on. Another factor that affects our skin is exposure to sunlight, with more and more women working, the concept of housewife is slowly fading.
Women are no more restricted inside their homes. While, we know how important it is to save the skin from harmful UV rays, it becomes difficult to care for the skin everyday. With the hectic schedules, there is no time left for self grooming. The harsh sun rays can cause premature ageing, pigmentation, tanning and fine lines or wrinkles.
Wearing a suncreen is a must, so also is a moisturiser. Even if you are indoors in the office with an AC, you will need a moisturiser, since such environment strips the skin of its essential moisture.
Eat food that is rich in fibre. If you cannot alter your eating habits, then at least include a healthy juice in your daily life. Take half beetroot, 1 carrot, 1 amla or tomato, coriander and mint leaves and prepare a juice. Drink this juice as often as you can.
Also talk to your doctor and take vitamin supplements, if your diet is not balanced. Don’t be your own doctor, since excess of any vitamins can also be damaging. Include a lot of fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables and vegetable juices in your diet. Replace the regular bread with a whole wheat one. Make these simple changes in your lifestyle and see your skin glow.
