1) Bun – To make your bun exciting, use a fancy switch. But don’t use a very big one, use a switch which is of the size of your bun. It will look natural and elegant. Another way of pepping up your bun is to decorate it with beaded U-pins. These days, U-pins come with decorative materials attached. You can a huge variety from crystals to beads, to sequences and so on. They are available in an array of colours. So indulge in some colourful U-pins and add life to your boring bun. Use an piece in the centre of the bun or on one side, it will look fabulous.

2) Plaits - Plaits can be decorated with self adhesive decorative stickers. They are on the same lines of bindi and have glitter or shimmer. These too are available easily and add a new look to your regular plaits. You can also use fresh flowers to deck up your mane, use small ones and fix them in each loop of the plait. This will look unique.

3) Head band made of your own hair – Yes, you got it right. This is a classic way of pepping up your hair. You can create a headband with your own hair by tying a plait across the crown. Start from one side of the head, near your ear and take a section of hair to tie the plait. End this plait at the other end and voila you have a new look.  You can use tic-tac clips to fix the plait, use a nice and big one around the ear, it will look elegant.
