Dry Hair - This type of hair is dry and straw like, you can easily make out dry hair by looking at it. The texture is rough and it looks dull and dehydrated. Dry hair looks lifeless and does not have shine. People with curly or wavy hair usually face dryness since the natural hair oils do not travel down to the hair shaft. Dryness is also caused due to excessive chemical exposure and pollution. Dirt, grime and other pollutants can spoil the health of your hair and make it dry. It is essential to keep the hair nourished and hydrated. Oiling, shampooing and conditioning are the best ways to prevent dryness. This kind of hair is also prone to dry powdery or flaky dandruff.

Oily Hair – This kind of hair will look greasy and the strands will stick to each other. Oily hair attracts a lot of dust and grime and therefore needs frequent washing. But at the same time, too much of washing can make the hair rough, hence it is essential to use a pH balanced shampoo. It is advisable to use shampoos and conditioners meant specially for oily hair. Since this type of hair attracts dirt, it is prone to infections if not kept clean. The common hair and scalp problems are greasy dandruff, bacterial infection, fungal infection and so on. Moreover, the hair looks limp and falls flat, hence washing is of utmost importance.

Normal Hair - This type of hair is neither too oily nor too dry. Normal hair requires simple hair care like, washing, oiling and conditioning. This kind of hair is considered to be the best and looks healthy and shiny. Whatever be your hair type, indulge in some spa treatments they can be great way of pampering your tresses.
