To regain the sparkle in your eyes and the youthfulness in your skin don’t even bother to look at the beauty counter for expensive creams and lotions, the solution lies in the supermarket or rather the Food bazaar. Fill your trolley with loads of brightly coloured fruits and veggies, lean fish, meat and wholegrain to get beautiful skin. By scoffing as many antioxidants as you can and plenty of food rich in Omega 3 and fatty acids you can look fresh faced and bright eyed once again. It is important to be responsible about what you are eating since whatever goes in, come out. If your food habits are poor it will show up on your skin and hair. Some fruits and vegetables which are good for your health and skin are listed below.1) Avocados – They are a full of good oils which feed your skin and keep you looking and feeling soft and supple. They are packed with Vitamin E and also contain glutathione, an antioxidant which reduces premature ageing.

2) Pumpkin seeds – These seeds are a rich source of fatty oils, including Omega – 6, which moisturise your skin from inside out. They also contain selenium, which helps banish skin – damaging free radicals as well as plenty of soothing Vitamin E.

3) Blue berries – The natural blue colouring in blueberries is anthocyanin, which helps keep the collagen strong and the skin looking young. These berries are also high in Vitamin C which helps the skin to repair itself and look youthful.

4) Tomatoes – They boost your skin as they contain a rich source of lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that helps prevent cell ageing. It also helps to boost your body’s ability to replenish cells, keeping you looking youthful for longer.
