The style is chic, hot, sexy and elegant, we are talking about “Bobs”, they have been around for so many years that even an ordinary woman would know what is bob cut. This cut is worn by celebrities and has been popular ever since. Bobs are incredibly versatile, they work best on very fine to medium hair textures.
You can add variation to your bob by adding a fringe in the front and some layers around the face. But there is a downside to bob, it is a high maintenance cut. So unless you are ready to invest time everyday in styling your bob don’t gofor it. You will need a trim every 4 to 5 weeks and would also need some good hair styling tools and hair products.
There has been a misconception about bobs or short hair cuts, people assume that short styles cannot be worn differently. But this is not the case, short hairstyles can also offer variety. We share few styles to glam up your bobs and to bust this misconception.
Messed up look with a bob is one of the most sought after styles, it looks like bed-head, but you need to pull this off with a lot of oomph. To achieve this look, scrunch some dry hair styling powder in the hair and blow dry working with your fingers. Ruffle the front section of the hair to keep it messy but flat.
Add backcombing at the crown, then take the back lengths, twist together and secure at the nape of the neck with a pin. Your bed-head look is ready. Another side that can be worn with a bob that has fringes is to set the fringes at the sides.
Give your hair a wide side parting and then use a comb to backcomb the crown a little. Brush hair around the nape of the neck and secure just behind the ear. Twist the remaining hair, backcomb it a little with your fingers and pin it into a bun shape. The bun should just sit behind your ear.
