Causes of Hair Loss
Hair loss is a common problem these days and we have come to terms with it, we have accepted it as a part of our life and we tend to ignore the causes of it. A close look at the way you deal with your hair and how it causes your hair to fall will startle you. The most common mistakes that cause hair loss are in our hands, with a little care and caution you can prevent the hair fall.
One of the most common cause of hair loss is tight pony tails/pleats, they tend to pull the hair very harshly and cause breakage, to add to it if the elastic band is too tight it will cause further breakage. Do not wear tight pony tails frequently, if you wish to wear one everyday then keep it a little loose and use a band which can be easily change its shape and doesn’t require any force.
The second most common mistake we commit is overusing styling products and sleeping with the product on your hair. Though it is advisable to use styling products in moderation but if you cannot avoid its usage on a daily basis atleast ensure that you wash it off before hitting the bed, sleeping with your hair products on is very harmful, it can cause dandruff and eventually hair fall. Do not wash your hair everyday, it strips the hair of its PH balance and makes your hair dry and rough.
Also do not blow dry your hair after every wash, it is best to let your hair dry naturally since over heating caused due to blow drying can lead to breakage and willl also strip the natural hair shine. When you wash your hair ensure that there is no residue of your shampoo or conditioner, rinse your hair thoroughly so that there are no traces of any product on your hair. If you want to provide moisture to your hair do not leave your regular conditioner instead use a leave in conditioner.
