Hairstyle is divided into two categories, casual and formal. Casual hairstyles are the ones that can be worn to college, picnic, vacation, outings, movies, dinner and shopping and so on.

These hairstyles are not so elaborate and look simple and sassy. They are easy to style and manage and suit all types of outfits.

Moreover, they can be styled in a jiffy, you just need few hairstyling products like flat iron, mousse, hair gel and so on. The first step to a good hairstyle is clean hair, no hairstyle will look good with limp and greasy hair. A squeaky clean scalp is one of the most important part of good hairstyle.

We suggest some casual styles that look chic and classy.

1) Pony tail - This style is the most preferred casual hair do and suits almost all casual occasions. Moreover, a pony tail can be worn differently to give a different look. For instance, a high pony tail will look good with a western outfit like jeans and a low pony tail will look good with ethnic clothes like a chudidar kurta or indo-western outfit. You can also add some variation to the regular pony by taking a section of the hair and wrapping it around the elastic band. This kind of wrapped pony tail looks fabulous for a semi-casual occasion.

2) Free flowing hair - Free flowing hair will look good only if it is frizz free. Ensure that you blow dry your hair and apply some shine spray to enhance their appearance. Blow drying can also be followed with flat ironing to tame frizzes and give a poker straight look to your hair. Add variation to free flowing hair by creating a small bouffant in the centre, this will instantly change the look and make your hairstyle a bit formal.

3) Bun - A casual bun worn low on the nape will go well with almost any outfit. A loosely worn bun can look sensuous, it has some unique grace. But again, frizzy hair can spoil the look and make your bun look cheap.
