Bridal Makeup Galore
Are you gearing up for the big day? Well, don’t get nervous we suggest some makeup tips for your special day. Wedding calls for many preparations like clothes, jewellery, accessories and so on, all of this can be arranged in advance but makeup is left for the last minute. Makeup often gives jitters since it has to be done in a limited time and you can’t undo makeup if it goes wrong. Fret not, though makeup is very important and can go awry a little bit of advance planning and preparation will help. Makeup is an art and a makeup artist would need a clean canvas to work on.
So makeup should always start with a clean and moisturized skin. Though makeup will hide any flaws on your skin; it’s a good idea to indulge in a daily skin care regime at least 2 to 3 months before your wedding. Before you start the makeup, prepare your skin by cleaning it, if possible use a face pack to make your skin shine and glow. This will also help your makeup last longer.
Start with the base application, apply concealer on the face, neck and back to cover any blemishes or scars. Next apply a panstick over your face to match your skin colour. This will help conceal blotches, spots or redness if any.
Dab on some translucent powder with a big brush and set it with a semi-wet sponge. Dust some shimmer or sparkle powder on your face, back and neck. Keep it minimal on the face, it should just add a little shine. Now work on your eyes and pick an eyeshadow which complements your outfit.
It is good to merge 2 shades of shadow, but ensure that it is blended well for a striking effect. Follow up with an eye liner and mascara, fill in your eyes with a kajal or kohl pencil. Use a lipstick in both forms, normal creamy matte as the base and a similar shade in high gloss liquid form. This will ensure that your lipstick stays longer, another trick is to apply 2 to 3 coats of lipstick.
