Bridal Elegance Guide
Everyone wants to look beautiful on your wedding reception and certainly don’t want that traditional wedding look. The reception look has to be something that is elegant yet has all the typical bridal glamour. Keeping this in mind we have put together three different looks for you.
Contemporary elegance - Pastel colours are a rage this season for reception ensembles with stitched sari’s being a hot trend this winter. It is easy to carry and looks fantabulous. These sarees have a very unique look and are available in retro styles as well as the modern styles. The hot hairstyle this season is the wet look with a bouffant.
Hair updo’s have also made a comeback, the vintage style is making waves all over. Retro style clothes, jewellery, hairstyles and makeup is big this wedding season. In jewellery, coloured stones can be used to match the outfits like coloured diamonds, crystals, emeralds, rubies etc instead of the regular white diamonds or crystals. The makeup trend is more oriented towards shine and shimmer with mineral makeup catching up like fire.
Simple radiance - Some brides would prefer the simple, non glamorous look with little makeup and light jewellery. This look is about a lot of attitude and confidence and is the hardest to achieve. One needs to have very good skin to get this de-glam look right. The hair is either kept free flowing or neatly tied into a simple bun.
A side parting or middle parting is adorned with a maang teeka. A simple set of costume jewellery works well with this look. Flower decorations can also be used on hair for that natural look. You can also team up antique jewellery, kundan sets for this look. Clothes, jewellery and hairstyle complete the entire makeup of the bride hence it should be in perfect combination to get the look right.
