Every girl dreams of her wedding day and wishes to look her best and why not, because wedding day is the most important day in a woman’s life. It is time to get gorgeous and make heads turn since the bride becomes the focus of every one’s attention.

Every bride deserves to be the very special lady of the day and look her best and in order to do so it is important to get everything right from the makeup to the hair, the wedding dress and jewellery and the accessories. Let us look at bridal make up, the pre requisite for make up is a good skin, it is difficult to get the make up right if the skin is in poor condition. So it is important for the bride to start taking care of her skin atleast 3 months before the wedding day.

Make up techniques for the bride;

1) Use a foundation which matches your complexion to the T. A perfect foundation is very important else your face will look like a clay doll and you surely want to look natural. Apply heavy-pigmented cream foundation and layer it with powder foundation to make the skin look smoother do not forget to apply the foundation on ears, neck and chest.

2) Use a concealer shade similar to the foundation and blend both of them well. Choose water based foundation and a dry sponge if you have combination skin.

3) If you have dark circles under the eye circles cover it with a concealer, blend it towards the nose and use downward strokes. Use glitter over the eyebrows and apply proper makeup on the nose, forehead and chin.

4) For eye make up use a small brush to blend a medium tone color from just below the brow arch downwards in a semi-circle motion.

5) If you have thin lips then use lighter shade of lipstick and vice versa, also ensure that the lipliner blends well with the lipstick shade it should not stand out.
