Keep away from direct sun rays:
Sun rays are a cause of chapped and wrinkled skin. Sun rays not only squeeze out extra water from the skin but also leave it dry, coarse, tanned and wrinkled. So whenever you go out, make sure to use a sun block or protect with SPF 25 and above.
Keep yourself away from soaps:
Soaps squeeze out natural moisture of the skin leaving it dry and patchy after bath. Use mild bath oils and wash off with lukewarm water. Lukewarm water helps to restore the normal PH balance of the skin. Never use soap on the face. Use a soap-free moisturizing face wash to cleanse the face.
Apply moisturizer just after bath:
The best time to apply moisturizer or lotion is just after bath when the skin is damp. This helps in restoring the natural moisture of the skin. /do not rub the skin vigorously after bath. Let it to be absorbed on its own.
Applying mashed ripe bananas helps to cope up with dry skin. Papaya and honey fig is also a good alternative.
Exercise:
Work out daily to promote proper blood circulation all over the body. Keep yourself well hydrated by drinking at least 10 glasses of water daily.
Vitamin dietary supplements:
The main cause of dry and patched skin is deficiency of vitamin A, B and E. Include these in your dietary regime to ensure normal skin.
