Benefits of Aloe Vera
Aloe vera gel has suddenly gained popularity, it is a common subject of discussion amongst woman with some of them even growing it in their houses. Well, the benefits of aloe vera are plenty, it has properties to cure many skin and hair related disorders apart from digestive, laxative and soothing properties. Aloe vera contains all the vitamins except Vitamin D and enzymes that aid digestion and soothe inflamation, it also acts as a laxative. Though there are no studies yet about the actual effect of aloe vera on hair but the way it works on the body and skin it works on hair as well. It maintains the PH balance of the hair and cleanses the pores. Massage the gel onto the scalp and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes before shampooing your hair. Do this everytime you wash your hair, aloe vera has the ability to seal in the moisture content of the hair thus preventing it from drying. It also stimulates hair production and can treat Alopecia.
Aloe vera is such a safe plant that it can be taken orally as a holistic medicine. Dump your hair serum for aloe vera gel, it has amazing conditioning properties and can be used as a leave- in conditioner after hair wash. Use it as a hair serum or as a protective gel before using any heated instrument like hair dryer or flat iron.
