Beauty With Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy oils are known to have balancing, cleansing and regenerative qualities and they bring about a harmony to mind and body besides a healthy glow to the skin. The human body is fascinating and remarkable machine.
Its design is far more complex than the most advanced computer. Deep inside the body are billions of cells carrying out thousands of different functions, without our conscious knowledge, the body regulates its temperature and water content, the rate of the heart beat and numerous other processes. However, there are common external problems and problem areas in different body parts like the face, hair and head, back, shoulders, hands and nails.
Today we shall discuss about the face and problems related to facial skin since it is the most visible part of our body. The common problems with the facial skin is dryness, dehydration, greasy and oily skin, blackheads, acne, dry and chapped lips, dark circles and marks and scars. Aromatherapy has solution for these problems and we suggest some blends that can be prepared at home to combat the common skin problems.
Night massage blend for all skin types:
Lavender oil – 3 drops
Bergamot oil – 3 drops
Sandalwood oil – 3 drops
Sweet Almond oil – 1 tablespoon
Wheatgerm oil – 1 tea spoon
This night rejuvenation massage oil is excellent for your face and will help in repairing damaged skin. A day and night skin care regime can go a long way in improving the health of your skin. The day care routine should include sun protection, some oils like wheatgerm and carrot seed oil have natural sun protecting qualities and can prevent tanning or sun burn.
In case you have an acne prone skin then a light facial oil containing 2 teaspoons of Sun flower oil, 1 teaspoon of wheatgerm oil and 3 drops each of tea tree, juniper and lavender is the best solution. You can dab fresh pimples or boils with neat lavender oil or tea-tree oil. Aromatherapy oil is the best way of treating pimples.
