It keeps the skin soft and supple, so never skip these three steps of skin care.
Apart from that you can go a step ahead and remove the dead skin cells to reveal the fresh new skin beneath. This process of removing the upper layer of the skin is known as exfoliation. There are different methods used for exfoliation, some are intense methods while others can be done at home.
The intensive methods of exfoliation would be chemical exfoliation like, glycolic acid peel, micro-dermabrasion and the likes. However, mild exfoliation can be done at home with scrubs. You can either use cosmetic or home made scrubs. Some of the best home made scrubs are easy to make and the ingredients may be available in your kitchen.
One such scrub is of rice flour, mix rice flour with milk and apply on your face, it will instantly give a glow and make your skin smooth. This scrub can be used once in a week.Another such scrub is gram flour, mix it with curd and a pinch of turmeric powder and use it everyday. It is an excellent way of exfoliating the skin. Exfoliation helps in removing the dead and dry skin cells thereby revealing a new you.
