Be sun proof: Use a good sunscreen of SPF 25 and above for total protection of your skin against the sun. But only using sunscreen on the face wouldn’t help. You need to apply the sun protection lotion all over the exposed areas. Use a good moisturizer as the salty water of the sea will squeeze all the moisture from the skin, leaving it dry and coarse. Apply a moisturizer soon after taking a dip into the sea. Also apply lip balm to the lips which tends to get chapped due to dryness.

Exfoliate with sand: Sand is a natural exfoliator. It helps in removing the dead skin and revealing the inner clean skin. So while walking on the sand beach, you can exfoliate the dead skin off your feet. Now the sea water, being salty, proves to be the perfect way to soften the cuticles and clean the feet thoroughly. Follow up with a good moisturizer.
