Human body or rather the metabolism is not designed to digest meat and non-vegetarian food. Some foods that are good for hair would be green leafy vegetable, dairy products like almonds and walnuts, fruits from the citrus family like oranges, kiwis, even berries, grapes and melons are good. Include coconut in your diet and hair care regime.

This oil is very emollient and nourishing for the hair. So include this wonder fruit in your diet and see the difference. Dairy products like milk and cheese are also good source of Vitamin A, which is required for healthy hair.
When to Eat - Having understood, what you should eat, it is important to eat your meals on time. Not just that, the heaviest meal should be consumed in the morning and afternoon. This means that your breakfast should be filling and so also lunch. Dinners should be light, since our digestion slows down in the night. Moreover, there is no physical movement in the night, we go off to sleep. So loading your system with too much food is not a good idea.
How to Eat - Remember the golden rule of eating ” Chew your food thousand times”. This is very essential, you should eat the food slowly and enjoy each morsel. Feel the aroma, the flavor and the taste of the food. Do not multi task while eating, also avoid talking while you eat. These are some old grandma rules that are important. Over time, we may have forgotten them, its time to incorporate changes in your lifestyle.
