Acrylic Nails Are The New Trend
Acrylic nails are artificial nails which are glued to the original nails. Growing your real nails can be too much of a hassle, unless you are blessed with strong nails. Nails usually turn brittle and go discolored. Acrylic nails are easy to use and comes in a variety of colors. You can pierce them and wear rings as well! Sounds interesting? We tell you some tips.
Clean your nails and remove the old nail polish. Push back the cuticles with a cuticle remover and shape your nail well.
Do not rough up your real nails. This can damage the natural nail enamel. While shaping your nails, do not cut the flesh as it can be painful and can graduate infection.
After roughing up the nails, apply a little nail glue on them. Drop the acrylic nails on the real nails and shape them properly. Make sure the glue does not dry up before you have shaped it properly. Else, your nails would look crooked. Moreover, the acrylic nails should fit in well. If your real nails can be seen underneath these, it will look ugly and unkept.
Shape the acrylic nails keeping in mind the shape of your original nails. Do not cut the flesh and injure yourself.
Properly mix the liquid acrylic and powder acrylic in a dish and apply on the nails as a nail polish. Avoid applying this mixture to your natural nail enamel as it can graduate fungal infections. Just buff it and these are ready to flaunt!
Taking proper care of acrylic nails:
Avoid doing too much of household work. In case you do, make sure to wear gloves.
Too much exposure to water can weaken the glue of acrylic nails resulting in detachment.
Do not bite your nails. Biting acrylic nails can cause infections and also damage to your natural nails.
Avoid changing nail polish too often, as the chemicals in them can eventually cause discoloration.
