A Knotty Affair

Dressing the hair is a challenge if you don’t tackle it with interest and imagination. The result of some labour invested in the hair can be astounding.

The most timeless and classy look for women has always been the bun. A style that has been worn for many centuries, the bun never seems to go out of style. With time, new variants and modifications have been made, but the essence and magic of the bn has been retained.

The charm of the bun is that it suits all hair types and face structures. Worn in different ways, it complements every face and occasion.

The classic bun can be worn to work, or to an evening out equally easily. If the hair length is medium, it forms neatly and quickly, and when fastened well, can last for long without getting messy.
For people with smaller faces, try wearing a low bun that does not appear to weigh you down, or look mountainous on the face.

The bouffant is a style that became extremely popular in the 70’s and 80’s. An elaborate hairdo that adds volume to the face, it is not very popular today, but is a look that can be tried by an adventurous few.
The French roll is an elegant look that is ideal for a party. It wears easily and can be carried effortlessly without having to bother about it coming loose easily. If worn neatly, it can offset the outfit beautifully.
Occasions like weddings and large social gatherings call for a little more dressing. Few fancy accessories like pins with flowers at the stem, or clips with fancy motifs can add character to just a simple bun.
The bun, you see, is really a quick fix. So tie all your hair troubles into a knot, and you are ready to go!
