Infact, changing the parting too can do wonders, it can add a lot of body to your hair. If you want crimpled hair then this trick is for you. Tie small plaits to your wet hair and leave it overnight. Next day, open the plaits and voila you have crimp hair. There are some more natural ways of styling your hair. Say if you want curls, then roll up damp hair with your finger and pin it up for 2 to 3 hours. When you remove the bobby pins, you will have a head full of soft curls.

Switch to home care - Try this for a month, switch over to home care for hair instead of going to a salon for hair treatments. Try a hot oil massage once in a week, use Jojoba oil for massaging the hair and scalp. Cover it up with a hot towel wrap atleast 2 to 3 times. Your hair will not only become softer and smoother, it will shine with health. Jojoba oil is an excellent conditioner and penetrates the hair shaft deeper than any other oil.
